About Me

Miranda Combs, LCAC
I hold a bachelors degree in Addiction Counseling from University of Mary and have been a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor since 2011. I started my private practice in 2022 after working in various outpatient, residential and dual diagnosis programs throughout my career. My approach includes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy as well as acceptance and commitment therapy. I focus on providing a safe and non-judgmental environment, which allows for greater emotional processing and healing of the roots of substance use rather than being solely behavior focused. I also enjoy utilizing Emotional Freedom Technique, mindfulness, and yoga based approaches when appropriate.
