New Day Recovery Counseling specializes in providing individualized substance use counseling for adults. Substance use is often a coping skill for emotional pain we are unable to manage with our current resources or supports. Whether your goal is sobriety, moderation or just wanting to find healthier ways to manage stress, I am ready to support and guide you in the recovery process. Substance Use Assessment

​This is an information gathering session, and the first step in starting care. If you require a more intensive program to meet your needs, referral will be provided. Court ordered evaluations/DUI evaluations are provided on a limited basis as scheduling allows.
Individual sessions are personalized and provide support, guidance and accountability in the recovery process. Frequency of sessions is individually based and flexible. Goals are client-driven, but often include emotional processing, managing cravings, changing thought patterns, healing attachment/shame wounds that exacerbate self destructive behaviors, and general relapse prevention strategies.
